Sergiu SiMION

Date of birth June 28, 1954. Son of Dumitru, a schoolteacher, and Floarea, a Romanian language teacher. Theoretical high school in Turnu-Severin, graduate of the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Bucharest with a thesis on “The Structure and Psychological Mechanisms of Ambiguity” (1981). After completing his education, he was a social science teacher in villages in Tulcea and Constanta counties (6 years), a psychologist at the NPP Cernavoda (12 years), and in the private sector (6 years).

He has published articles on psychological and social topics in Romanian-language magazines from France, Germany, the USA, and Canada. STUDIES, EXPERIENCE, SOCIAL ROUTE

1969 - 1973 - theoretical high school, real section , Drobeta Turnu- Severin.

1974 - 1975 - military service (1 year and 2 months).

1975 -1976 - student (with scholarship) at the Institute of Construction (Faculty of Installations) - Bucharest.

1976 - 1977 - giving up technical studies in order to enter the University

- responsible at a boarding school at the (economic) Mihai Eminescu High School - Bucharest.

1978 - student at the Faculty of Philosophy-History, Psychology Section (day courses) - Bucharest; simultaneously responsible at a boarding school.

1978 - 1980 - collaborator (student) at the Institute of Psychology in Bucharest on research on suggestion and suggestibility (coordinator Prof. Dr. Vladimir Gheorghiu, vice-president of the World Association of Hypnosis and Suggestion).

1981 - (June) - graduation from the faculty. Bachelor's degree (grade 10): "Structure and psychological mechanisms of ambiguity" (Coord.prof.dr.Mihai Golu)

1981 - 1982 - history professor at Sc. gen. Sf.Gheorghe, (Danube Delta).

1983 - history professor at Sc. gen. Seimeni, Constanta.

1984 - history professor at Sc. gen. Dunarea, Constanta.

1985 - 1986 - history professor at Sc. gen. Rasova, Constanta.- September 1985 - final (average 8.83)

1987 - psychologist at N.P.P. Cernavoda. Condition and explanation of employment: "I assume legal, material, civil and criminal responsibility for my acts and deeds". Until 1990, the position was listed as an education inspector (between 1978-1990 the profession of psychologist no longer existed in the official nomenclature of professions).

1988 - training courses in various psychological laboratories and research institutes:

- Psychological Laboratory of the Center for Aeronautical Medicine, Bucharest

- Institute of Neurology and Psychiatry, Bucharest

- Titan Mental Health Center

- ICEMENERG Psychology Laboratory.

1989 (October) - authorization as a specialist psychologist N.P.P. following the defense of the paper "Psychological selection of operating personnel for nuclear power plants".

1988-1999 - Psychologist of NPP Cernavoda (selection and psychological authorization of the operating personnel of N.P.P.Cernavoda ( 1200 employees - finally, 800).

1993 - Evaluation of the organizational climate in a department of N.P.P. Cernavoda at the request of a representative of the Canadian partner.

1995 - Global psychological evaluation of a company with private capital and 300 employees based on a 6-month contract.

1998 - Accepted for interview at the competition for the position of human resources director of TVR (consultant: Coopers & Lybrand).

1999 - He resigns from NPP Cernavoda and begins to carry out an independent psychological activity. Consultant at ING Nederlanden - 2 months
